Rich Os Beer Cheese Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 lbs sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 16oz cream cheese
- 8 to 12 oz. Dark Beer
- 1/2 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 Tbsp crushed red pepper, or less, depending on how spicy you want it.
- 1 1/2 tsp cayenne
- 1/2 Tbsp ground black pepper
Instructions
- In a double boiler, melt the cheddar and cream cheese.
- When melted and smooth, add one cup of beer and spices.
- Stir well to blend. Add more beer for thinner texture if desired.
- Serve with crackers, pita triangles, or crudites. Makes about a quart.
