Creamy Macaroni & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts Water
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 8 ounce Elbow Macaroni Noodles
  • 4 cups Shredded Cheddar or Jarlsberg Cheese
  • 8 ounce Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Helmans Mayonnaisse
  • 2 tablespoons Finely chopped onions - Sweet Onion
  • 1 cup Crushed White Cheddar Crakers for topping

Instructions

  1. Macaroni
  2. 2 qts water - 1 teaspoon salt - 8 oz elbow macaroni - boil 9 to 11 minutes - drain
  3. If making ahead cool the macaroni with cold water
  4. Cheese Mix
  5. Mix the rest of the ingredients with the macaroni and stir well.
  6. Place in a 11 X 7 1 1/2 baking dish. Spread the crushed cheddar crakers evenly over the top
  7. Bake at 325 for 30 to 40 minutes
  8. Party Version - about 50 servings
  9. Macaroni - 6 qts water - 8 teaspoons salt - 2 lb macaroni
  10. Cheese Mix
  11. 64 - oz of cheddar
  12. 32 - oz of sour cream
  13. 1 qt - Helmans mayonnaisse
  14. 6 tablespoons - of finely chopped onion
  15. 4 cups - crushed white ceddar cdrackers
