Creamy Macaroni & Cheese
Ingredients
- 2 quarts Water
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 8 ounce Elbow Macaroni Noodles
- 4 cups Shredded Cheddar or Jarlsberg Cheese
- 8 ounce Sour Cream
- 1 cup Helmans Mayonnaisse
- 2 tablespoons Finely chopped onions - Sweet Onion
- 1 cup Crushed White Cheddar Crakers for topping
Instructions
- Macaroni
- 2 qts water - 1 teaspoon salt - 8 oz elbow macaroni - boil 9 to 11 minutes - drain
- If making ahead cool the macaroni with cold water
- Cheese Mix
- Mix the rest of the ingredients with the macaroni and stir well.
- Place in a 11 X 7 1 1/2 baking dish. Spread the crushed cheddar crakers evenly over the top
- Bake at 325 for 30 to 40 minutes
- Party Version - about 50 servings

- 32 - oz of sour cream
- 1 qt - Helmans mayonnaisse
- 6 tablespoons - of finely chopped onion
