Cheese Salad Recipe: How to make Cheese Salad Recipe at Home | Homemade Cheese Salad Recipe - Times Food

Ingredients

  • 200 gm chopped spinach
  • 1 teaspoon ground peppercorns
  • 1 medium onion
  • salt as required
  • 2 pinches black pepper
  • 100 gm black olives
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 200 gm cottage cheese
  • 1 medium cucumber
  • 5 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 teaspoon virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Take a large salad bowl and crumble some cheese, chop the rest and keep aside. Meanwhile, thoroughly wash the spinach, tomato and olives and put them in a bowl of iced water. This step is important to make the salad veggies crunchy. Roughly chop the onions and peel and slice the cucumber and keep aside. You can remove the tomatoes and spinach from the water after 20 minutes. Chop the spinach, slice the tomatoes and olives.
  2. In a small bowl add the olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano, lemon juice, mustard ( if you do not have Dijon mustard, use regular yellow mustard powder of 1 teaspoon of kasundi or mustard ketchup), honey and mix well. You can add ingredients or remove them from the dressing as per your choice.
  3. Now add all the vegetables to the bowl with cheese and pour the dressing and mix well. Check the seasonings. Now refrigerate this salad or two hours before serving. Make sure you try this recipe, rate it and let us know how it turned out to be.
