Italian Cheese Noodle Casserole
Ingredients
- 13 1/3 ounces Wide egg noodles 4 cups cooked
- 1/2 pound Lean ground beef
- 1 cup Onions chopped
- 1 29-oz can Hunts tomato puree
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Dried oregano leaves
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Dried basil leaves
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 2 cups Cottage cheese
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese Shredded, 12 ounces divided
Instructions
- PREPARE NOODLES ACCORDING TO PKG DRAIN AND KEEP WARM
- PREHEAT OVEN TO 375
- BROWN BEEF WITH ONIONS AND DRAIN
- STIR IN PUREE HERBS AND GARLIC POWDER SIMMER 5 MIN
- IN A 13X9 BAKING DISH LAYER 1/2 EACH OF MEAT SAUSCE NOODLES COTTAGE CHEESE AND MOZZERALLA REPEAT LAYERING
- BAKE COVERED 25 MIN REMOVE COVER AND CONTINUE BAKING UNTIL CHEESE IS MELTED AND BUBBLY ABOUT 5 MIN
