Mac and Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Bowtie Pasta
  • 1 medium White Onion diced
  • 1 stick salted butter
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 4 cups 6 Cheese Shredded Italian Blend
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 3 cups Half-and-half cream
  • 2 cups Heavy whipping cream
  • 1 package bacon pieces
  • 1 package French’s Fried Onions crushed

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, boil water. Add salt and oil to the water. While pasta is boiling, melt butter in a large skillet and saute the onions. Once softened, add both creams, Italian shredded cheese, salt, and bacon. Continuously stir so it doesn’t stick. After 8-10 minutes of boiling, drain the pasta. Once drained pour the pasta into a 1/2 hotel pan. Pour the cheese sauce over the pasta and mix well. Sprinkle sharp cheddar over the top and broil until browned. Sprinkle fried onions across the top and return to broiler (these will burn fast).
